FRAME NOTES #001: The Story Behind FRAME-001

Hi SENN family,

 

Welcome to the very first edition of FRAME NOTES.

 

Every month, we’ll take you behind the scenes of SENN. No polished marketing stories or perfect pictures, just the real story behind our collections, the decisions we make, and everything that comes with building a brand.

 

A few months ago, we launched our very first collection: FRAME-001.

 

At first glance, they may look like ‘just’ basic essentials. But that’s exactly where the challenge lies. Designing a great T-shirt turned out to be much harder than we ever expected. We spent countless hours refining the fit. Sometimes we added a centimetre to a sleeve, sometimes we took one away. We compared different fabrics, tested how they performed after washing, and searched for the right balance: structured enough to hold its shape, yet comfortable enough to wear every day.

 

We also obsessed over the smallest details. From the colour of the embroidery to its exact placement. Details that most people may never consciously notice, but together they make all the difference in how a garment looks, feels and lasts.

 

Why do we call our collections FRAME?

Everyone remembers the finished film, but almost nobody sees the thousands of individual frames that came before it. That’s exactly how we look at SENN.

You don’t build a clothing brand with a single collection. You build it step by step. Every design, every fabric, every fitting and every decision becomes another frame in a much bigger story. That’s why we don’t call our collections drops or seasons.

 

We call them Frames.

 

Because every collection marks a new chapter in the same story. And that story has only just begun. Thank you for being part of it from FRAME-001.
